What do I need to use the SAFER-BIO-FUEL™?
In order to burn efficiently, you need to utilize batting or a wick (unless your burner has already the required wick). With the proper insert, virtually any type of fireplace or burner can be converted to burn with SAFER-BIO-FUEL™.
How do I fill the SAFER-BIO-FUEL™ into the burner?
Pour slowly to allow the batting to fully absorb the fuel.
Add fuel until batting is saturated. Do not overfill: allow 3 to 6 mm of wick to remain above the filling level.
How do I light the fire?
Hold a long lighter or match on the saturated wick in one spot, long enough for the fuel to warm up and light (15-45 seconds depending upon size of lighter flame). The initial flame will be very small and barely visible. Light the wick at both ends to speed up the lighting process. Protect from wind and allow the flames to expand across the wick. It may take 5 minutes or more for a nice flame to develop.
Does it smell or smoke?
No, the combustion is clean and free of soot. SAFER-BIO-FUEL™ gives a clean burning flame. However, a burner that is close to extinguishing may produce some fumes with a slight smell for a few minutes. Closing the burner at this point will prevent this.

How do I store SAFER-BIO-FUEL™?
The product rated non-flammable and should not impact facility insurance coverage, unlike other fuels. Of course, always store in a cool place, away from any source of heat or ignition, out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
